The Steam listing requires Windows 10 or 11, 16 GB RAM, a GTX 1660/RX 590 minimum or RTX 3070/RX 6700 XT recommended, and 50 GB available space. The FPS targets are official targets, not a guarantee for every PC; Linux/Proton is not officially supported for the Early Access launch.

Minimum and Recommended PC Specs
| Profile | OS | CPU | RAM | GPU | Storage | Official target |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | 64-bit Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 | 16 GB | NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 590 | 50 GB available | 1080p · Low · 60 FPS · Upscaled |
| Recommended | 64-bit Windows 11 | Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | 16 GB | NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT | 50 GB available | 1440p · Medium · 70+ FPS · Native; or 4K · Medium · 60+ FPS · Upscaled |
What the Official Performance Targets Mean
Steam ties the minimum configuration to 1080p Low at 60 FPS with upscaling. The recommended configuration targets either 1440p Medium at 70 FPS or more natively, or 4K Medium at 60 FPS or more with upscaling.
These are published targets for the listed configurations, not a personal performance guarantee. Drivers, background processes, settings and later builds can change the result on your machine.
Does 50 GB Mean the Download Is 50 GB?
No. The Steam requirement says 50 GB of available storage. That is the space to keep free for the installation; it does not establish the exact download size or future patch size.
Does WARDOGS Support Linux or Proton?
The developer’s 4 September 2026 compatibility update says WARDOGS is not officially supported on Linux, cannot be committed for the Early Access launch and is still being worked on for official Proton compatibility.
A previous Alpha or Beta client working for some players does not guarantee the Early Access build will work. Treat Linux/Proton as unsupported until the developer changes that official position.
What This Page Cannot Guarantee
The table cannot predict FPS on a specific PC, Steam Deck behavior, console requirements or performance on every map. For those decisions, compare your hardware with the official list and wait for a current build or official platform update.
